Peter Wallace Preston ,Emeritus Professor of Political Sociology,
Department of Political Science and International Studies, University of
Birmingham, England. Research interests centre on the analysis of dynamics of complex change; those intermingled processes of economic, social, cultural and political change that characterize the development trajectories of countries within the global system.
